San Jose, Calif. (November 21, 2005) - Moviegoers in San Jose soon will enjoy an exciting new entertainment destination when AMC Eastridge 15 opens to the public Wed., Nov. 23, 2005. The theatre anchors the newly renovated Eastridge Mall in San Jose, offering consumers a unique shopping and entertainment experience.
The spectacular new theatre is designed to celebrate the moviegoing experience. Moviegoers will feel the quality and attention to detail that will make this new theatre a San Jose gem. Bringing Hollywood flare to the theatre, celebrity graphics and famous movie quotes adorn the building and a modern-day rendition of the red-carpet carries guests to their seats for a fun, comfortable and inviting environment.

"This is our third theatre in the San Jose market and we are thrilled that moviegoers will soon have an additional opportunity to experience the AMC difference in comfort, quality, service and convenience."
AMC Eastridge 15 will officially open its doors Wednesday morning with a "ticket-tearing" ceremony hosted by the San Jose Chamber of Commerce at 10:30 a.m. Moviegoers are also invited to a Red Carpet event which will roll out later in the afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The first 200 guests will receive a special thank you gift as well as opportunities to win exciting prizes. To mark the release of the newest film in the mega-hit Harry Potter series, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," Harry Potter look-a-likes will be on hand for a meet and greet and picture availability with guests.
To kick off the grand opening, mall shoppers who spend $100 or more at Eastridge will receive a FREE pair of AMC movie tickets while supplies last. Purchases from department stores are excluded from this offer and there is a limit of one pair of tickets per person, per day. Guests can visit Eastridge Mall's Customer Service area for additional details and to show their proof of purchase.
The celebration will continue throughout the weekend providing moviegoers the opportunity to win prize packs, gift certificates, cash and movie-themed items. Additional festivities include:
