Discover Mills® Adds Amc Theatres To Entertainment Lineup
18-screen AMC Megaplex will open in December 2003
Atlanta, Ga., December 20, 2002 –The Mills Corporation (NYSE: MLS) and AMC Entertainment Inc. (AMEX: AEN) today announced the addition of an 18-screen AMC Theatre complex to Discover Mills® in Atlanta, complementing the year-old shopping center's unique mix of innovative entertainment, dining and retail offerings. The theatre addition is expected to increase foot traffic by 15% annually to the Gwinnett County property.
Scheduled to open in December 2003, the AMC megaplex will feature all the state-of-the-art amenities already well known to AMC moviegoers, including:
18 theatres with stadium seating (with 18-inch risers for unobstructed viewing).
AMC’s exclusive LoveSeat-style seating featuring an extra six inches of leg room and armrests that lift up so viewers can ‘cozy up.’

Digital sound in all auditoriums.
Automated Box Office (ABO) for easy purchasing and advance ticket pick-up.

The AMC Discover Mills 18 will begin construction in February 2003 and will be located between ESPN X-Games Skatepark and Jillian’s. It will be the anchor to the center’s entertainment district, which also includes satellite facilities of the Georgia Music and Sports Halls of Fame.
